Metal has been a part of my life since 1989, when a good friend introduced me to Anthrax. The Not man logo. I wasn't working, I was 15, and computer internet wasn't there. To my advantage my brother also a music guy asked someone the same question. What new music should he check out. Bands like Anthrax, Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer and Exodus were given to him. He bought Anthrax " I'm the man, State of Euphoria" Metallica "..And Justice for All" "Jump in the Fire" Megadeth "Peace Sells" and Exodus "Fabulous Distaster" He was into Metallica and Anthrax but not Megadeth or Exodus. I enjoyed them all. Shortly after he bought the I started working and I bought the same records but more. Megadeth "Rust in Peace" and Anthrax "Among the Living" from there is grew to all of Metallica's, Anthrax and Megadeth records. Until 1993 those were the only 4 bands I listened too, I couldn't find much of Exodus in my small town where I lived in. So I joined the Army and went to Germany and my music collection grew to S.O.D., King Diamond and Mercyful fate. For some reason, Slayer wasn't interesting to me, I didn't have anyone to listen to them, Nor where I bought CD's didn't carry them. In 97, I bought the S.O.D "Live At Budokan" in "Speak English or Die" they played "Raining Blood" It hooked me. The Drums and the Guitars hooked me. I looked at what CD's I had, over 200, and noticed I had Slayer "Decade of Aggression" and started listening to it. Shortly after that I bought the entire Slayer collection that I could get. Years laters I add bands like Testament, Overkill, Nuclear Assault, Fear Factory, Iron Maiden, M.O.D, Ministry, Sepultura and many more. Almost all of these bands we a contribute to me want to learn and continue to play the guitar.
